The prevalence of brucellosis in cattle, sheep and goats in Iran was investigated serologically during the years 1970-1984. The number of serum sam ples tested in this period was 175 676 from cattle and 110 817 from sheep and goats. The results obtained demonstrate the value of the simul taneous use of various serological tests to provide accurate interpretation.
